Many of you are currently searching for an event planner, it is very important you find the perfect fit for the big day. Today, I give you some tips that I hope will help you select the right event planner for your celebration.

Tip #1

Self-Reflection

Be honest with yourself about what are your needs from an event planner. It’s important to know how much time and effort you are able to commit to planning your special day. Many planners offer a
variety of services like weddings, the services vary from full planning, partial planning, and day of coordination. But, not all planners offer all services. It is really important to check what services the planner offers when you are researching aid for your big day.

Tip #2

Check Them Out

Read the reviews on their site and don’t be sure to ask other industry pros, family, and friends for recommendations. Online reviews are a good way to gauge what others experienced with the planner that you are thinking of choosing. Make sure to read reviews for each of them, and please make sure the reviews are recent. Reviews give you a broad idea of how they care for their clients and what other clients are saying about the planner and their team.

Tip #3

Fast Friends

I personally believe that in order for me to do my best work for a client, we have to become friends. I need you to know and trust that I will always be open and honest with you. It’s important that you feel comfortable with me because things won’t constantly be positive and stress-free during the planning of your event. Life happens, you could be facing a stressful job, a move, or starting a family. There will be good and bad times, for this reason, your planner should be someone you could get along with in real life. Are you able to vent to them? Can you hang out with them? Can you have an emotional breakdown in front of them?

If your answer is yes then, you have found your planner. If your answer is no, this could be a sign that you haven’t found the right planner. The last thing you want is to feel uncomfortable being yourself under any circumstance.
